Here is the how-to I posted on the previous version of my website :

Step 1
Install properly the macromedia 8 suite on windows XP ( in C:program files ) and to have at least wine 0.9.11 installed on linux ( You have to run "$ wine" a first time to create the /.wine directory in your home dir ).

Step 2
Copy the whole macromedia folder located in

C:/program files/
to
/home/<your name>/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/

Step 3
Copy the Macromed ( no mistake for the "ia" ) folder located in

C:/windows/system32/
to
/home/<your name>/.wine/drive_c/window/system32/

Step 4
Copy the Macromedia folder from

C:/documents and settings/All users/application data/
to
/home/<your name>/.wine/drive_c/window/profile/all users/

Step 5
Copy the macromedia folder from

C:/Program Files/Common Files/
to
/home/<your name>/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Common Files/

Step 6
Export the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Macromedia/ key from your registry on windows XP ( "regedit" in execute ) and convert it to ascii using :

recode ucs-2..ascii yourfile.reg
and run it in wine with
wine regedit yourfile.reg

and enjoy lol

PS : Normally this will work pretty good with most of macromedia 8 softwares but I haven't tested all those yet.
PSS : I haven't tested with the latest adobe suite, so if anyone had tried please let me know if this works. Wink

As I said, this has been tested for The macromedia Suite version 8.
It was quite previsible that this wouldn't work for newer version.
But be sure that as soon as i get my hands on one of these version I'll try to make it work ;)
